Research Interests

My research currently is limited to collaborative studies focused beta-mannosidosis, a lysosomal storage disease, and the pathogenesis of nervous system lesions. Characterization of a mouse model with deletion of the beta-mannosidosis gene will further the understanding of the role of metabolic abnormalities in CNS dysfunction in this disease. Research in medical education involves the use and evaluation of new technology in enhancing learning of neuroscience concepts.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about my research.
