Lab Affiliation: Dr. J. Galligan

Research Interests

I am investigating the function of endothelin receptors expressed in  HEK 293 cells and mesenteric blood vessels and the molecular mechanisms by which endothelin receptors couple to other effector molecules including receptors and ion channels using pharmacological, biochemical, immunocytochemical, imaging and  electrophysiological approaches.  I focuses on the functional interaction between ETA and ETB receptors with implications for venous ET-1 reactivity in hypertension.
