Student Background/Interests

I completed my M.S from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, India and joined the Neuroscience program at MSU in the summer of 2006. Almost everything in neuroscience fascinates me but axonal transport, neurodegeneration and the link between axonal transport and neurodegeneration are my main areas of interest. As leisure, I enjoy reading and playing cricket and soccer whenever I can. I am passionate about food and am always willing to experiment new cuisines.

Selected Awards

Awarded fellowship under the NIH funded Fogarty International Research Collaboration Award (FIRCA), for pursuing M.S at TIFR, Mumbai from 2002-2005.
