Student Background/Interests:
I received my B.S. in psychology from Michigan State University and joined the neuroscience program in the summer of 2004. My main interests are researching the causes and prevention of neurodegeneration and aging.

Awards:

  • Michigan Parkinson’s Institute’s 2004 Raymond Bauer Student Fellowship Award: Awarded fellowship based on proposal for study entitled “Gender Differences in the Chronic Mouse Model of MPTP”.
  • Michigan State University’s graduate school 2005 summer acceleration fellowship.
