Faculty Advisor: Dr. J. Lonstein
Entered Program in Summer 2005

Student Background/Interests

I received my B.S in Biological Sciences from Oakland University in Rochester, MI. I performed undergraduate research for two years in the organic chemistry lab of Dr. Amanda Bryant Friedrich. Despite my lack of experience in neuroscience, I chose this program because it combines excellent research opportunities, with wonderful people, in a nurturing environment. My current interests are in the field of behavior neuroendocrinology. I am currently rotating in the lab of Dr. Lonstein

Awards

ALANA Bridge Fellowship: Students start the summer semester, prior to the beginning of the academic year, giving students an opportunity to do rotations in laboratory oriented areas or various other forms of preparation for their graduate career.
