Student Background/Interests

I graduated with a B. S. in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Central Arkansas. I began doing research in a PAIN Neurobiology Lab looking at the effect of pain in early development on the developing cortex and sub-cortex of a rat model. I decided to pursue my interest in Neuroscience and chose MSU due to the diversity of faculty interests, and well developed curriculum. My current interests include stresses during development and the social/behavioral outcome associated with such stresses.
