Student Background/Interests
I received my Bachelor and Master of Biomedical Engineering respectively in 2001 and in 2004 from Univ. of Elec. Science & Tech. of China (Chengdu). I performed the master research on developing new dynamic models of function MRI response and applied the technique into the research of visual field asymmetry. Now I am doing my rotation in Dr. Symonds’ lab. My primary research interest is identifying and understanding the neural circuits that underlie cognitive behaviors, specifically those that go in pain, placebo and emotion.
I enjoy the life hanging out with my husband and friends. In the free time, I like cooking, shopping and traveling . Baseball and Yoga are my favorite sports.
